I get a lot of brides who want a casual style wedding. Nothing structured they say, I just want it to be relaxed they tell me. And you know what, I am all for that. But let me tell you, in order to get that casual relaxed appearance, your wedding team has to be ON. POINT. And that means we need to create a wedding day timeline.
I like to be really organised, and this is the best way to be if you want to pull off the casual vibe. Do you want me to be hassling you all day to ask whats happening next? What is the DJs name? Who is uncle Jim and do you want him in every photo? Thought not, so a bit of planning in the lead up will create the perfect atmosphere on the day.
When you book with us I will send you a questionnaire. I can see all you free spirits out there running for the hills already, but hear me out 😉 In this questionnaire is all the info I need to make your day perfect. It has all the details about locations and times, special features of your ceremony, things you don’t want missed at your reception, who you want in the family photos (i.e. NOT Uncle Jim in every photo!). Don’t worry, you don’t have to fill this in straight away, as most of the info won’t be known until you get into the final timeline stage with your venue co-ordinator or caterer, so I’ll usually contact you about the finished questionnaire a month out from your wedding.
From there I’ll create a timeline, which I’ll send back to you to to confirm and change anything that looks odd, and then all that is left to do is for us to turn up on the day. Being organised means you get to enjoy your day without hearing from us every few minutes, and we can be there to capture the moments exactly as you have hired us to do.
