What a week it has been! Spring has closed with a bang starting with a portrait shoot and event shoot on the same day (note to self: carrying around a 200m lens for hours on end will HURT!) then my exhibition with RAW Sydney on Wednesday. Throw into that keeping up with my day job and my family and you have one very tired Taryn.
But as much as it was tiring it was really inspiring and fun.
First up my portrait session with the very beautiful Bailey. How could you not love Bailey’s glorious red hair and porcelain white skin! Set off against the wild forest my theme was woodland nymph. I wanted to capture Bailey’s playful nature and joyous personality and I think we achieved it. We had so much fun and lots of laughs, and are already planning the next shoot – can’t wait!
Later that day I photographed the student showcase ‘Shine Bright’ for the pole dancing school Suzie Q Pole Studio. This was a chance for the students of the school to perform on stage for friends and family without the pressure of competition. Such an entertaining night with some amazing performances (including two ladies singing while doing pole – no easy task!) all the students performed beautifully.
