I have had a chance to work and meet some incredible wedding vendors over the past year and I am excited to bring you their stories, so I’m kicking off with Sydney wedding cake supplier Priya and her business Sugarpot.
I get a lot of brides who want a casual style wedding. Nothing structured they say, I just want it to be relaxed they tell me. And you know what, I am all for that. But let me tell you, in order to get that casual relaxed appearance, your wedding team has to be ON. POINT. And that means we need to create a wedding day timeline.
For this Guides for Brides I caught up with Kecia from Well Lettered, who I met through a wedding we were both vendors for. She creates beautiful hand written calligraphy for weddings and events – an art that I am in awe of being my own handwriting is shocking 😉
About a week ago I had the pleasure of meeting Kimberley and checking out her stunning custom made gowns. Kimberley has been creating bridal and special occasion couture full time since 2012 in the Hills District of Sydney.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Louise and Erin over at Beautiful Blooms to chat about their gorgeous floral creations. Beautiful Blooms have a real passion for creating bouquets that are a bit different from the norm, resulting in amazing bouquets that would be perfect for any wedding style.
Last week I popped in to see Alannah Derley, the brains behind the gorgeous cake creations at Exquisite Cakes in Castle Hill.
In this day and age of digital everything the traditional wedding album has become a bit of a dinosaur. More often than not it is an afterthought for many couples; most don’t even consider it until they realise that it comes standard in all my packages and others opt for my a la carte packages which don’t include prints or albums because they feel they don’t need it.
A few weeks ago at Dan & Erika’s wedding I had the pleasure of working with the beautiful silk blooms from Anika Steel at Prestige Flowers & Co. (formerly To Keep You Near). At first I didn’t even realise they weren’t real – they are really that good!
