About a week ago I had the pleasure of meeting Kimberley and checking out her stunning custom made gowns. Kimberley has been creating bridal and special occasion couture full time since 2012 in the Hills District of Sydney.
If you’re a Sydney-sider, you’ll know all about the April storms of 2015. They were big and they were constant, flooding suburbs causing havoc all the way up the NSW coast. And if you’re on the Central Coast, you’ll probably have been without power – maybe for a few hours, maybe for a few days. Louisa and Ryan’s holiday house just so happens to be on the Central Coast, and their house just so happened to be without power for days. An inconvenience in anyones book, but even more so when you are getting married at your house that week!
It’s always gratifying to do personal projects, and one of my go to girls when I have a crazy idea in my head is Kim.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Louise and Erin over at Beautiful Blooms to chat about their gorgeous floral creations. Beautiful Blooms have a real passion for creating bouquets that are a bit different from the norm, resulting in amazing bouquets that would be perfect for any wedding style.
Last November Aaron & I had the pleasure of photographing Jen and Deimon’s beautiful wedding at Biviano’s Dural.
This winter has seen month upon month of beautiful sunshine in Sydney.. that is until we hit August! This August has been the 2nd wettest on record, and we all watched the skies with trepidation as Sam and Jess’ wedding day approached.
I can’t believe it is mid year already! This year has flown, and June has been very busy talking to new brides who I’m really looking forward to spending time with.
In this day and age of digital everything the traditional wedding album has become a bit of a dinosaur. More often than not it is an afterthought for many couples; most don’t even consider it until they realise that it comes standard in all my packages and others opt for my a la carte packages which don’t include prints or albums because they feel they don’t need it.
